Ken Simiyu
Ken Simiyu is an innovation advisor with the Centre for Innovation and Impact (CII), with USAIDs Bureau for Global health in Washington DC. At CII Ken focuses on supporting Global Health bureau priorities that involve health Innovation, Market access and Innovative finance. Specifically, he is working on developing CIIs strategy of scaling innovations in developing countries through looking at ways to maximize impact of Investment Readiness Programs (IRPs). Ken has over 15 years experience in innovation in global health. Prior to joining USAID, Ken worked at Grand Challenges Canada as a Program Officer and at the University of Maryland where he directed a Program to eliminate Typhoid in Africa and Asia. Ken has an MPH from George Washington University and a PHD from the University of Toronto.
